Summer Bridal Make-up

Wedding Season is here! I've got brides buzzing all around me, trials flying around and my summer weekends becoming progressively busier!

Most brides I speak to, tell me they don't want to look too done up on their big day. There are a few who want me to go all out on make-up and hair asking look like certain celebrities from J-Lo, Cameron Diaz to even Jordan! However, most brides would like to look like an enhanced version of themselves.

A common look I'm asked for is a bronzed look. Most brides I know have a few fake tans before the big day and instead of looking like an English Rose, they opt for the bronzed babe look.

I've done a how-to on getting that bronzed babe bride look this summer with little fuss. Who says you have to cake on the make-up to look beautiful on your big day!?

I had recorded a video on how to achieve this look, however, youtube has changed their policy and restricts videos being longer than 10 minutes and seeing as mine goes over 10 minutes, only just, here are the after pictures of the tutorial. I will record a better version on under 10 minutes!

I am going to do a few Bridal hair tutorials as well, so keep an eye out for those as well!

  1. Great job! Back in 2004 when I got married I did several tanning sessions to try and have some sort of glow. In retrospect (after two family members survived melanoma), I wish I'd tried something like this instead of exposing myself to all those icky rays.

Come say 'Hi'!
