Jean Shrimpton Inspired Makeup Tutorial- Modernised

I recently had a request for Jean Shrimpton who was the muse for David Bailey in the 1960's.
I looked through a load of photos and couldn't find any that had a great representation of her makeup as it was in the 60's and slightly washed out. So what I did was take what I saw and adapted it to a modern girl.

Instead of using a light blue, like she has in some of her photos, I went for a green.

HERE IS WHAT I USED:
MAC- Face and Body Foundation C1
Origins- Quick Hide Concealer
Sephora - Pro Lesson Palette for green eyes. (I used all green colours)
Maybelline - Long lasting cream liner
Makeup Forever- Blonde eyebrow pencil
Boots No7- Brown/black eyebrow pencil
MAC-Mineralize Skinfinish Powder
Girls With Attitude Eyelashes
Clinique- High Impact Mascara
Makeup Forever- Uplight face Luminizer 32
Rimmel- Tiramasu Lipliner
NYX- Lipsmacking Lipstick in cream
Remington - Volumizing Brush

HERE'S HOW I DID IT:

  1. Hi, I really like your take on her look for one. The green is genius especially for your eye color. But what I would've done differently is go a little lighter on the eyeshadow and be more generous with mascara on the bottom eyelashes. Thanks for being daring and going with this inspiration c:

  2. Shrimpton did a step-by-step illustrated how-to in Glamour or Mademoiselle Magazine in the mid-60s. Her eyeliner was very much custom for her eye shape and her use of eyelashes was important to the look.
