Train to London...all snuggled up!
Of course I didn't turn it down.
I took Ruth along, who is not only a pastry chef (graduated from the prestigious Cordon Bleu) but also an amazing knitting extraordinaire. This was right up her alley!
The event was put on by Cosmic Communications PR and co-hosted by Vintage Patisserie and special knitting expert Catherine Hirst- Contemporary Crafts Instructor.
The products are just in time for this extremely cold weather we are now having. Let me tell you, my skin is incredibly dry from being in the heating inside and the cold frosty wind outside.
Now if I am honest, I have never used atrixo before, as I have some other staple products in my winter cupboard that I love...but there is no reason why these lovely products can't sit right next to my old reliables. Because they are good, but also more affordable if you are on a budget and seeing as Atrixo have been doing this for 55 years...I think they kind of know what they are talking about!
Here is what I got in my little goody bag!
£3.32 100ml (Great for travel or your gym bag) and £5.40 200ml (perfect for the home)
2. Atrixo Intensive (the original handcream of Atrixo) which is rich with glycerin (very good for moisturising the skin). RRP £5.40 200ml
3. Atrixo Regenerating Treatment (I've been popping this on my hands daily since I got it. My hands became extremely chapped and they are now incredibly soft). This is a great product if your hands are over exposed to the elements, tough jobs and gives instant relief.
RRP £5.46 100ml
I also recieved a GORGEOUS Teacup and Saucy, which you can see in the photo above AND the cutest and yummiest little cake in the shape of an Atrixo pot of cream!
Atrixo cake, too cute for words.
First I got ready...popping on a bit of red lippy with a vintage eye!
Then I stole my sister's dress...she's travelling around Europe so she won't need it :D the vintage broach is my own though!
The knitting lesson began!
I didn't want to knit! I wanted to EAT!!
My terrible knitting...but I was still pleased with what I made...even if I am too tense to knit and do it too tightly
Ruth had to finish knitting for me and fix some bits! Ruth also got her hair done!
Stuffing my face and rolling my knitted 'thing' into a camomile flower.
The cakes! mmmmm
Some of the other lovely bloggers!
Ruth and I with my finished product and Ruth's beautiful hair, created by the Vintage Patisserie girls. My flower looked like a fried egg. Ruth's was cute and was put in her hair.
