This is one of my favorite tutorials I have shot. Not only was I in my new studio (with accent blue walls) but my sister, Tatiana and I got silly with our naughty jokes together.
My sister had a date with a cutie tonight and she wanted to look fresh, seductive, and flirty. We were inspired by Rachel McAdams look in The Notebook. She is a classic beauty in this film, and my sister has a very similar hair colour to match. Its easy to create this look by giving her high, apple-like cheekbones, sweet pouty lips, and enchanting eyes that accentuates her eye colour, which is green. I gave her a smokey eye to give off that seductive yet sweet sex-kitten look.
The aim for this look was well put together, with minimal effort.. or so it looks! We know how much effort we put into making ourselves appealing, but of course, we just rolled out of bed looking like this! For my sister's date night hair, we put lovely big and bouncy curls using my curl, spray and pin technique shown in the video. We left her hair pinned while we finished off her makeup. When we took down her hair, it fell perfectly at her shoulders-bouncy and full.
This look was done quickly, and easily once you get the hang of it. She had half an hour before she had to catch her train and I still managed to get her looking good and ready before her taking off.
