Check out my OOTD - What I Wear to Meetings!

I often have to meet clients before a wedding. We call these bridal trials. Obviously first impressions mean everything.

A lot of my clients have never had their makeup done by a professional before and they have this misconception that we all look like we've stepped off a catwalk with false lashes flying everything, bright eyeshadows and crazy clothes.

It is my job to make my clients feel comfortable with me as soon as they meet me.

This is why I make a point of not dressing up like I am in some high powered meeting, or dressing for a night out at the clubs.
I have to come somewhere in the middle. Where my clothes look nice, aren't offensive but give a good impression.

Below is my look for today.

I kept everything pretty neutral today. I have my Forever21 Five pocket Skinny Jeans on. They are super comfortable and look really nice with the Loafers I have, which are a bargain from Dorothy Perkins. I am wearing a loose striped top which I took a skinny belt and synched the waist in, to shorten the top and make it smarter.
I then grabbed a quick, beige blazer, that wasn't too smart and took this uber casual look to the next level.

Hair and makeup I kept simple. I went to bed with my hair in a bun, slightly damp still, so when I woke up, I had effortless waves already in my hair.

I cleansed my face with Rodial Dragons Blood cleanser and applied my Bee Venom cream to my eyes. Popped on my Bee Venom Rodial tinted moisturiser and concealer. Made a quick grab for my bareMinerals Warmth Blusher and Moxie lipgloss. Quickly threw on my sapphire (power ring). And I am ready to go!

All I need to do now is grab my kit!
Wish me luck!
