Rodial Puts the 'R' back in LuxuRy!

Rodial? Who of you have heard of it?

If I am completely honest, it has only been the last couple of years that I have learned about who they are and what they do.

I have had the privilege of trying, what I think are one of the most luxurious products I have come in contact with.

Ok, so before I start, they come at a hefty price tag, but don't let this put you off. A little goes a long way and, well, facelifts and chemical peels cost a lot more and I see the price tags as an investment in my facial future :)

There are a few different products that have become staples of my skincare and makeup regime (though I am always mixing things up a bit, to keep it interesting).

The first thing on my list is the Glamtox Cleansing Balm:
RRP £48.00

OMG, is all I can say...OK actually I can say more, but it is really that scrummy! Even my bestie, Ruth, was impressed with how smooth her face was after ONE try! ONEEEEE TRYYY!!

This almost gel like, concoction pumps out like a creamy/yet translucent gel, then rubs onto the face like an oil, gliding smoothly all over the skin, to cleans deep down into your pores to clear them gently.

If you fly a lot, you don't drink enough water, on the go all of the time and your skin is becoming dry or dehydrated (yes there is a difference) this is a great product because it literally gives your skin LIFE again!

I don't usually buy into hype. But this product is amazing. My skin looks better than it has in ages and it doesn't feel tight after I wash it off. Actually (shhh), I've forgotten to put on my night cream a couple of times because my skin feels soft and smooth, that I get distracted and totally forget the rest of my skincare.

Here is how my skin is looking! It is suitably sunkissed and pretty much makeup free!

Now, onto their next yummy product! This is for the lazy girl...which can sometimes be me. As in, too lazy to take off your makeup, but know ya gotta do it!

RRP £25.00

I HATE face wipes to clean with. They could quite literally take paint off of walls (no joke, try it). BUT sometimes it is just so so so annoying having to take your makeup off at the end of the night, tie your hair up, get the water temperature just right, then, if you are short like me, you got to wash your face and water goes everywhere because the sink is actually too tall for you! YES! That happens to me!

This Dragon's Bloog Cleansing Water is my get out of jail free, card. I can literally get myself a couple of cotton pads, put a few pumps of those water and clean my skin.

What's more is it doesn't sting my eyes. Normally cleansers, even if they say they are gentle, can sting a bit or irritate my eyes. This cleanser is as delicate as a rose and smells like one as well, not to mention it is pumped full of Vitamin B3 to help re-energise the skin!

STOP using cleansing wipes and go for this. JUST SAY NO!

The only thing I have to say, is this cannot be your main way of cleansing your skin every night. You kind of need to use a cleanser with water to get deep into the pores, but if you are in a rush or too tired (drunk) to clean your makeup off, then try this bad boy! Or if you need to freshen up, this is the way to go. I LOVE IT!

Next in line is the eye cream made of gold (or at least it should be with it's price tag). This cream is beautiful. It smells fantastic and a little goes a long way! You don't need much of it, so it's hefty price tag doesn't seem sooooo bad when you realise it will last you a while. And to be honest, you would probably spend more money on buying multiples of other brands because they run out faster.

The cream at hand is the Bee Venom Eye Cream
RRP £115.00

Yes, it is a hefty tag. I told you so. But I swear it is well worth it. Think of it as insurance for your eyes! (well skin around your eyes)

Why is it so great? Well, if you are reaching menopause, it is actually proven to to halt the damaging effect it has on the skin. Because when you reach menopause, your skin begins to dry out and fine lines start to appear where they weren't before. As your hormone levels drop during menopause, you will start to see an increase in sagging of the skin around the eye area and face in general.

I LITERALLY WAS JUST DISCUSSING this with a lady today, who had reached menopause earlier than expected and was suffering from what I mentioned above! Small world.

Anyway, It delivers intense moisture to they eye area and plumps up the skin, just where we need it. It is also great because it diminishes dark circles as well.

This is one fantastic product!
Oh and while we're at it, if you are looking to seriously improve your skin and you're really suffering from the side effects of menopause, above, then I would probably look into this bad boy below. (I haven't actually tried it, but if it is as good as the eye cream is, I reckon you're in good hands...or cream)
RRP £160

(yes people, it's expensive, but so is plastic surgery...oh and the fact it's a lot less dangerous than plastic surgery)

This product is similar to the eye cream in that is smooths out wrinkles, plumps the skin and boosts it with a hit of super moisture.
Also, Honey Bee venom is used to trick the skin. The skin thinks it has been stung with the bee venom toxin melittin which makes the body direct the blood towards the effected area. (I know, sounds gruesome, but it isn't. It's just a cream haha)The stimulations helps with the production of collagen and elastin.

Pretty freakin cool if you tell me.

Please check it out! I swear it is worth it.

Also, I have some great tutorial reviews coming up on the Rodial Tinted BB Venom and also the Rodial BB Venom Concealer
I cannot live without these at the moment and are a staple part of my makeup regime this summer!

You can buy any of these products through my page as well!
