Prize Candle Review!

Recently I was sent a Prize Candle to review. I had never heard of it before but it is a great concept and a great gift idea. The candle is $24.99 RRP.

Click here to check it out: Prize Candle
The lowdown… This is a candle which is made of soy which are eco friendly and pesticide free (a healthy candle?) , smells amazing and has an exciting prize inside.

The step by step looks fairly simple. You light the candle, which you will see in my video, then once the prize package is available, pull it out with tweezers after you blow the candle out. As you can see the state of my candle, that wasn't as simple for me as my prize was stuck up against the side of my candle jar and so I had to dig it out a little. (No biggy! It was like digging for treasure!)

Once I pried the little package from the candle, I had to open two packages…the only downside is it was within a plastic bag which said 'Made in China' which instantly made me think it was probably going to be a plastic toy ring. However, I was very wrong. Inside was a lovely, well weighted, silver ring with an amber style stone. It looks like a very expensive ring and if it isn't expensive it looks like a brilliant piece of costume jewellery.

I was given a code to get an appraisal of my prize.

Turns out it is worth $10. I was a little surprised as it felt more expensive, but I wouldn't say I was disappointed as it is a lovely piece of costume jewellery to add to my jewellery box.

The candle, being $24.99, may seem a bit pricey, but to be honest, it is really the gift that keeps on giving. It is great for a loved one that you just aren't sure what to get them. Or brilliant wedding gift, congratulations gift, mother's day gift and even valentines day gift!

I definitely rate this as a great gift that keeps on giving and it is worth every penny! Love it. x
