A Year of Weddings - Double Wedding Day -

There are some Saturdays that I have two weddings. I try not to do them very often but if I have a timeframe that works and a bride that will do anything to have me, then I will add the second wedding.

On this particular day in August I had the chance to do Lisa's wedding:

Lisa was completely calm and collected! Even though she heard another wedding couple in the same hotel arguing over the groom losing the wedding ring... it didn't give her the jitters like it would most brides.
Lisa had a traditional style and wanted a smooth half up and half down hairstyle , adding a hairband with a lovely vintage style broach on the side. We emphasised her eyes, keeping the rest of the skin fresh and dewy.
Lisa and her photos just looked absolutely amazing on the wedding day!

My second wedding of that day was Sophie! Sophie, the bridesmaids and my assistant and I had the pleasure of watching Friend (American sitcom) the entire time we were getting everyone ready! Let me just tell you that nothing sets the tone like some hilarious Friends episodes! So funny!

Sophie opted for a lovely plait along her fringe and we went for a light smokey eye and pinky lips!
While Monica worked away on the bridesmaids' makeup (her job was so easy, just look how stunning they are), I did their hair. We went for soft, side swept half up styles that looked elegant but natural. Sophie comes from an outdoorsy family and she didn't want anything too harsh!

With this particular undo, we went for the veil to be underneath so as not to upset the intricate style of the bun! It worked perfectly!
